Available immediately : Treasure Coast Animal Emergency & Specialty Hospital is looking for experienced technicians to join our team! Multiple shifts (day, mid, or overnight) available.
This would be a set weekly schedule of four 10-hour shifts.
Job Responsibilities :
- obtaining detailed history and TPRs on patients
- assisting doctor with thorough examinations
- venipuncture, place IV catheters, give injections (IV, IM, SQ)
- positioning for radiographs
- monitoring of hospitalized patients
- running blood tests, urinalysis, etc.
- anesthesia / surgical assistance
We have MRI, Hyperbaric, and Endoscopy services we can train you on!
Qualifications / Skills :
- Medical terminology
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- able to multi-task efficiently
- strong communication skills with other employees and clients
- maintain a calm and professional behavior during emergency situations
One year minimum experience required.
