Job description
Assistant Director/Director
We are looking for a creative and innovative candidate to help run our Early Education Center in Vernon NJ. The candidate must have a passion for the early education of young children and have 2 years previous experience managing a center. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, that has the ability to flourish in a transitional environment. The candidate must have a strong work ethic, ability to multitask, exemplary communication skills, and the ability to run a school/business.
Being a team player is a must. This is a newly owned/ managed center that focuses great emphasis on respect and leadership!
Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
- Enrollment.
- Touring prospective families.
- Marketing to a target audience.
- Social Media Platforms.
- Team Building.
- Staff Meetings.
- Staffing.
- Curriculums.
- Employee annual Reviews.
- Following all NJ licensing regulations.
- Grow NJ Kids Initiative.
- Implement Procare technology programs (will be trained if no experience).
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Must create a warm and welcoming environment for students, families and staff.
- Promoting a sense of community is a must, along with being a true leader.
- Prior childcare management experience with knowledge of NJ licensing regulations.
- The candidate must possess strong communication skills. Being able to work individually as well as part of a team.
- Experience on social media platforms. (Cloud Campaign, Instagram, FB)
- Experience with Procare is a plus.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's /Associates Degree in Early Education or something similar.
- Ability to help lead a team.
- Passion for the early education of young children.
- Experience in lesson planning/curriculums.
- Ability to work and adapt in a fast- paced environment.
- Candidate must have a strong work ethic and is driven.
- Two year minimum of assistant management experience in early education.
