Job Summary:
Scranton Motors Vernon is seeking a reliable and experienced Part Time driver to join our team in Vernon, Connecticut. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles and other items to and from various locations. This position is ideal for someone who has a flexible schedule and is looking for a part-time job in the auto industry.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a part-time hourly position with competitive pay. As a part-time employee, you will not be eligible for benefits such as health insurance or paid time off.
Responsibilities:

• Safely transport vehicles to and from designated locations
• Ensure all vehicles are in good working condition before driving
• Adhere to all traffic and safety laws while on the road
• Follow designated routes and schedules
• Keep a clean and organized vehicle
• Report any vehicle issues or accidents to the appropriate parties immediately
• Communicate effectively with other team members and management
• Assist with other tasks as needed, such as vehicle maintenance and cleaning

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Previous experience as a driver preferred
• Knowledge of traffic and safety laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible schedule and availability to work weekends and evenings if needed
