RoseRyan is Hiring a Senior Revenue Accountant Near Ventura, CA
- Drive and support revenue accounting process improvements for gathering data, accounting, and reporting
- Prepare month-end journal entries, including revenue-based royalty accruals and intercompany recharges
- Prepare month-end reconciliations and recommend resolutions for aged items
- Support budgets and financial projections for financial statements, from revenues to operating margins and key balance sheet items
- Assist with revenue recognition during month-end close, including reviewing contracts and reconciling deferred revenue
- Support period-end close processes, including reconciling internal accounts, comparing actual performance to latest financial outlook, preparing revenue and expense accruals, and reviewing accuracy of revenue, gross margin, and expense information
- Assist in calculating monthly revenue recognition on professional services projects
- Provide customer support to clients and internal teams regarding billing-related inquiries
- Provide support for both internal and external quarterly and year-end audit efforts
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record in revenue accounting
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in the finance and accounting industry is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
