Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, meal preparation, and direct support, with a strong understanding of assisted living .
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene
- Provide direct support and companionship to individuals in home setting
- Administer medications following proper protocols and guidelines
- Implement care plans and ensure the well-being of residents
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as nurses and social workers to deliver comprehensive care
Experience:
- Proven experience in patient care, direct support, or related fields
- Familiarity with dementia care practices and protocols
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Ability to uphold HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality
