The Baptist Home- Mt. Vernon (MO) is accepting resumes for Registered nurses who feels called to serve the aging in a faith-based setting. Responsibilities include implementing and oversight of the nursing team in carrying out a developed plan of care to meet the resident’s physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
· Must demonstrate knowledge of the nursing process in administering resident care
· Must utilize assessment skills and techniques in determining resident needs
· Must possess positive communication and public relation skills with residents, resident families, contact persons, staff, and the public
· Must have the ability to exercise sound leadership and supervision of the nursing team
· Must have a working understanding of the aging process and the changes that come with aging
· Must have consistent, quality decision-making skills
· Must have sufficient typing, technology, and adaptation to change skills
· Must be enthusiastic and supportive of the vision, mission, and values of The Baptist Home to provide Christlike care to the aging
Candidates should have a current RN license from the state of Missouri. A BSN is preferred. A competitive pay and benefit’s package are offered, including health, life, dental, vision, disability plans, generous retirement, sick leave, and paid time-off.
