Responsibilities

• Manage thecost control cycle throughout the project execution, by setting up projects/mandates,tracking budgets and schedules, within the project management system;
• Calculatethe initial budget on the basis of the proposal;
• Ensuretracking of hours, expenses, costs and budget updates;
• Monitorchanges and coordination with the project team;
• Evaluatechange requests, evaluate their impact on project objectives and communicatechanges to stakeholders;
• Ensure andmanage the project progress monitoring with discipline managers, including costand schedule controls;
• Ensurefollow-up with project managers on regular updates of project forecasts,including periodic assistance in the estimation of remaining project costs, aswell as necessary provisions and risks;
• Recordsand resolves issues relating to project budgets and schedules;
• Ensure thequality of prepared project status reports, executive summaries, and dashboardsto provide timely updates on performance.

Requirements

• Administration,finance, or engineering degree;
• Minimum of5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Bilingual(an asset), but proficiency in English language with excellent communicationskills (written and verbal) is required;
• Strongpersonal IT skills (MS Office suite) and relevant software skills specific toproject controls.
