Role & ResponsibilitiesTo deliver client projects as part of a team:
- Technical development of embedded software, covering requirements specification, software implementation, verification and validation, including embedded software test via MiL/SiL, PiL, HiL and on physical test-rigs and vehicles
- Contribute to the configuration of AUTOSAR, using configuration tools
- Technical analysis to achieve tasks with sound evidence base
- Responsibility for delivering assigned tasks to time, cost and quality on customer projects
- Interface directly with clients on technical issues
- Liaison with wider team members – including those in other disciplines (e.g control, systems, functional safety), and in partner companies – to organise and deliver project activities as required
- Reporting of technical status internally and to customers
- Supervision of junior team members on assigned tasks.
Mandatory:
- Degree in Computer Science / Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical / Electronics or similar
- Fluent in programming in C
- Technical experience in embedded software for relevant applications, such as: power electronics (inverter, on-board charger, DC-DC converter) or similar real-time control systems
- Working knowledge of software development quality processes (e.g. ASPICE)
- 5 years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer.
- Experience in AUTOSAR
- Experience of Infineon AURIX family of microcontrollers
- Control system development
- Functional safety, ISO26262 and similar
