Petit Lawn Maintenance is a small commercial grounds management firm located in Valley City, OH. Specializing in commercial properties we strive to provide our clients with top services at an exceptional value. We are looking for hard working and motivated individuals to join our team for the 2023 season

As a Landscape Foreman you will be required to:

• Operate basic landscape equipment such as zero turn lawn mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, and hand trimmers along with various other tools
• Perform general lawn maintenance and various tasks to commercial properties as instructed by supervisor
• Perform occasional mulch installations as required
• Complete jobs within a specified timeline
• Lead other crew members as well as work under and take direction from a supervisor
• Perform site checks
• Have a basic understanding of turf and plant material
• Perform general housekeeping duties around the shop
• Be a motivated individual that shows up everyday ready to work and contribute to the companies success
• Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
• Willing to learn
• Display impeccable attention to detail

Each foreman is responsible for showing up to work ON TIME and IN UNIFORM before the required start time. Lockers and uniforms are included on behalf of Petit Lawn Maintenance. Each employee must have reliable transportation to our shop.

At least one year experience leading a landscape maintenance crew is required.

This position is offered, but not required, with year round work available as we transform into snow removal services in the winter months.

Typical work week: 8 A.M. - 5 P.M. Monday through Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
