Del West is a high-precision manufacturer of Auto Racing Engine Components (Nascar, F1, MotoGP) located in Valencia and has multiple openings for Quality Technicians for the 2nd shift and Weekend shift.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Quality Control for visual & dimensional measurement of machined parts.
· Working knowledge of SPC and mathematical concepts.
· Setup, edit, and program the OGP Optical Machines.
· Setup, edit, and program the CMM.
· Setup, edit, and program the Surface Finish & Roundness machines.
· Verification of equipment, documentation, & certifications.
· Assist Quality Engineers as needed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma
· Minimum 1 year working in Quality in a manufacturing environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Leadership experience preferred.
· Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry preferred.
POSITION CRITERIA:
· Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as basic algebra, geometry, and metric system.
· Ability to use hand tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
· Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
· Must be computer literate.
· Ability to work with other employees in a team environment.
