Welcome to Cornerstone Church. We seek a full-time Associate Pastor to serve our congregation in Uxbridge, MA. The right leader will possess a pastoral heart and instinct, a passion for gospel-driven ministry, and a proven record of providing spiritual guidance for the growth of God’s people (1 Peter 5 : 1-5).

Qualifications

• A vital and growing relationship with Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1 : 5-8).
• Meets the qualifications of an elder (1 Tim 3 : 1-7).
• A Bachelor’s or Master of Arts degree in biblical or theological studies from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about developing God’s people for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4 : -).
• Excellent listening skills (Proverbs : ; James 1 : ).
• Dedicated to the biblical principles of peacemaking (Romans : ; Matthew 5 : 9).

Responsibilities

• Support and complement the Lead Pastor, collaborate with the staff (paid and unpaid) and elders, with excellence to fulfill the mission of the church.
• Ability to preach occasionally.
• Oversight of all adult discipleship ministries : : Life (small groups), coaching marriages to health, developing semester Institute courses, and oversight of the assimilation processes.
• Oversight of outreach : local and global missions, and community.
• Create pathways for the development of ministry leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
