GENERAL PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to encourage healthy lifestyles by providing nutrition education and guidance to Harmons’ associates and customers. This person will be providing individual nutrition counseling, assisting with the Dietitians Choice program, participating in our Traveling Dietitian program and Harmons Better Basics teams, conducting store tours and cooking school classes, and representing Harmons at various community events. This person will also provide exceptional customer service.

Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable store environment with the possibility of occasional exposure to hot, cold, slippery, and wet conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand, and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries. Must have personal transportation and be able to travel between stores and to community events. Also requires standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the entire workday and the ability to maneuver objects weighing up to 30 pounds from location to location.
