Applied Pavement Technology, Inc (APTech) is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team of skilled technicians responsible for operating and maintaining specialized pavement testing equipment. Engineering Technicians support Civil Engineers in facilitating field data collection activities, conducting pavement testing assessments, and supporting other project related work.

Responsibilities:
This full-time position will require multi-day travel and occasional night work. Engineering Technicianswill receive paid travel expenses and per diem allowance for meals. Engineering Technicians are responsible for:

• Conducting pavement inspections.
• Creating and updating two-dimensional mappings.
• Managing database developments and indexing.
• Operating and maintaining testing equipment.

APTech will train and develop successful applicants on the operation and use of the following specialized testing equipment:

• Falling weight deflectometers.
• Coring rigs.
• Automated distress data collection vehicles.
