Montessori Academy of Upland is looking for a full-time Teachers/Assistant Teachers in our 0-1.5 year, 1.5 - 3 year and 3-6 year old classrooms. The person selected for this position will be responsible for assisting a classroom teacher in the general supervision and management of a class of children.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE 12 ECE UNITS. (3 UNITS BE INFANT/TODDLER SPECIFIC HIGHLY PREFERRED.)

Must be available M-F

8:30am-5:30pm

and/or

9:00am-6:00pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Assisting in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the lead teacher.
• Assisting in planning and preparing the learning environment, setting up learning centers, and preparing needed materials and supplies.
• Supervising the children during class time and outside play.
• Helping with the general housekeeping tasks.
• Assisting the lead teacher in any other appropriate ways.
• Treating all children with dignity and respect.
• Attending all staff meetings and recommended training programs and conferences.
• Attending parent meetings, open houses and other classroom events.
• Participating in professional organizations that work for the improvement of early childhood education.
• Potty Training - Infant and Toddler Programs on ly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
