What’s a typical day as a Packager? You’ll be :
- Bending to band / package materials
- Packaging finished products for storage and shipment
- Selecting and maintaining a supply of all packaging materials needed for processing and warehouse activities
- Cleaning up at the end of each shift and putting materials back where they belong
- Reading and adhering to standard and special packaging specifications
- Safely and properly operating manual, semi-automatic, and automatic packaging equipment
- Completing and inspecting paperwork, tagging, and final package for finished products
- Transferring finished products to storage and / or shipping areas
- Maintaining safety and housekeeping standards within assigned work area, in accordance with company standards
- Working together with all members of a processing crew and company management

- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have sit down forklift experience
- Can read and understand work orders and written instructions
- Are able to utilize measuring devices such as rulers, tapes, and calipers
- Can utilize computer systems to print tags
