Seeking individual to perform water and soil analysis including but not limited to:
1. Basic instrumentation ( GC, ICP, spectrometers, etc.) and wet chemistry procedures to analyze samples. to comply with EPA and TCEQ.
2. Maintain certification for selected parameters such as BOD, COD, TKN, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, chloride, metals, coliforms, and others for analysis of water/waste water.
Required work experience: Prefer individual with at least 3 years similar experience in environmental testing laboratory.
Education: Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree in chemistry, biology or closely related field. An associates degree in appropriate science field and 5 years experience or high school diploma and 10 years laboratory experience can be substituted for BS/BA degree.
Other: Must be available to work overtime and/or unusual hours as necessary.
