Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. This individual must be comfortable working in a small business setting and will be responsible for operating and maintaining his machines to help build out various construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- To be able to proficiently operate an excavator safely and perform tasks such as digging utility trenches and foundations, grading, moving/loading material, etc.
- Routine maintenance on equipment (fuel, grease, inspect, other mechanical abilities are a plus)
-Be able to work in different settings such as work alone on a site or be able to work closely with a team.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols on construction sites
- Collaborate with the construction team to meet project deadlines
Skills:
- Experience in operating an excavator in commercial site work construction. Candidate must be familiar with using an excavator to efficiently get done the task at hand.
-Awareness and the ability to work safely on a congested construction site. -
- Strong understanding of heavy equipment operation techniques
