We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. This role requires a strong understanding of database management systems and data backup processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Management Information Systems (MIS), or a closely related field and five (5) years of directly related work experience in database management, data warehousing, and adherence to data standards; or equivalency of training and experience
- Certifications in Database Management, Data Warehousing, or related areas are preferred
- Experience with Microsoft SQL and Azure is preferred
- Valid Driver's License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of:
- Database management principles, data warehousing practices, and data standards
- Microsoft SQL and Azure, with a preference for related certifications
- Computing and information technology terminology, practices, and processes
- Latest methodologies and developments in the field of database technology
- ETL processes in relation to City systems and data warehousing
- Database security
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67,204.00 - $90,000.00 per year
