Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Legal Operations Attorney with exemplary contract management skills to join our dynamic team in Oak Brook, IL. This position will provide versatile and comprehensive support to the legal team's operations, primarily focusing on contract management and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all internal legal operations, including interacting with outside counsel, drafting and reviewing client contracts, creating terms of service, ensuring data privacy, and ADA compliance
• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize a wide variety of complex commercial contracts to meet business and legal requirements, including client, vendor, consulting, licensing, non-disclosure, and service agreements.
• Collaborate with various departments to analyze and address legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Help develop contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Resolve legal issues and contract interpretation queries raised by business and operations teams.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the legal department to enhance efficiency.
• Provide guidance and training to other team members on relevant legal issues, policies, and practices.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
• Prior experience (5 years preferred) practicing law in a corporate setting, with a focus on contract law.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
• Strong negotiation, documentation, organization, and people skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
