We are seeking a part-time Activities Assistant who is interested in making a difference in the lives of seniors for our community Blossom Springs.

The following job functions are just a few that are critical to your success in this role:

Activities/Life Enrichment

• Assist the Director and other departmental staff in implementing a life enrichment program designed to meet the needs of our residents.
• Provide hands-on involvement and/or run the various scheduled programs; including accompanying residents on outside activities/events.
• Assist with the collaboration with other department leaders on community activity planning and other events.
• Complete necessary records regarding attendance and cost associated with events.
• May be asked to transport residents in company provided vehicle to/from various activities or appointments.
• Participate and attend all scheduled training and education classes as required.
• Must be in attendance of special planned events, parties or other engagements. 

Qualifications

Previous experience in activities within a senior living community preferred. 

Exhibit a sincere desire to work with the senior population.

Exhibit outstanding customer service skills and contribute to a friendly and dynamic atmosphere. 

Exhibit high level of professionalism, courtesy and time management skills.
