Immediate opening for A Material Handler in the Dayton, OH area! 
The Material Handler will ensure the loading and unloading of materials within the warehouse and stage materials for orders for the pick and packers correctly.

Responsibilities:

• Operates a variety of material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, reach truck, tuggers and electric pallet jacks in the processing of warehouse processes
• Load and unload materials within a warehouse or storage facility utilizing hand truck, forklifts, and stand-ups
• Performs functions such as put away, replenishment, missing parts, loading and unloading to support DC operations
• Safe operation of equipment, perform daily safety checks, acts safety in all job duties
• Participate in annual full inventory count
• Stack Merchandise onto pallets and install protective devices such as shrink wrap, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to materials being transported
• Perform quality checks and document results
• Perform basic housekeeping activities
• Ensure all materials are labeled correctly
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisors or management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED required
• 2 years warehouse general experience is preferred
• 6 months forklift experience required
• Basic mathematical abilities.
• Able to perform repetitive job functions, hand mobility, bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling.
• Ability to stand the majority of the workday and walk, push, pull, twist and bend to the floor for duration of work period
• Must be able to work flexible work schedule.
• Ability to identify and communicate basic process improvements
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Proven reliability – attendance and punctuality
• Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to multi-task
• Team player capable of working with a wide range of people

Shift: 2nd (2:30PM-11PM) 
Pay: $18.50/hr
