Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Produce Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, stocking produce, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and purchases
- Stock, rotate, and organize produce items in the display area
- Package and label products following safety and quality standards
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks
- Load and unload shipments of produce
- Maintain cleanliness in the produce department
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks

Experience:

- Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in a produce department
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful attitude
- Knowledge of handling and storing various types of produce
