As an Associate Project Manager, you are responsible for coordinating set-up, maintenance, transition, and closure activities for client programs. Works in collaboration with client team and project managers and technical leads across the lab. Consults on project management issues and supports overall function of the project management group.
A day in the Life:
Schedules group meetings and teleconferences (internal and external), prepares and distributes agendas, and records and distributes minutes. Monitors completion of shipment requests.
Manages existing programs. Onboards new programs using project management tools and templates as appropriate and in collaboration with other Biopharmaceutical teams.
Monitors assignments and adjusts priorities and work schedule to meet deadlines and provide high quality deliverables. Completes additional tasks as needed in support of project, client, and departmental objectives.
Ensures timely completion of program activities and deliverables. Documents communication and actions with clients.
Serves as designated back-up for PM staff and point of contact coverage for project managers when out-of-office. Reviews and prepares with project managers in advance of coverage.
Advises project managers on procedural and budgetary items and the necessity for change due to any subsequent study modifications and/or protocol amendments. Monitors monthly revenue reviews and contract modifications.

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
Experience
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 2 years) or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
