Description:

Animal Dermatology Group (ADG) is the largest veterinary dermatology business in the U.S., providing the highest quality of specialty care to pets with acute and chronic skin conditions. ADG has over 20 primary practice locations and numerous satellite locations nationwide. With over 60 doctors supporting the ADG medical team, they strive to lead in clinical practice, research and education in our field. In additional to providing advanced, dermatology specialized care to patients and supporting general practice veterinarians in our geographic service areas, ADG participates in drug/product development and clinical trials. ADG also has the largest dermatology residency program approved by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology to support the training of the next generation of dermatologists.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join Animal Dermatology Group (ADG) as the District Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of our field services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and client satisfaction. As the District Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing the field team, implementing efficient processes, and contributing to the overall success and growth of our practice.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Build Effective Teams

  • Build practice teams with the right people with the right skills.
  • Build organizational trust through the communication process with words, actions, and impact aligned with caring for our people, our patients, our clients, and our practice.
  • Lead and inspire a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional specialty veterinary dermatology services.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure continuous professional development.

Support Quality Decision Making

  • Optimize resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and supplies, to meet the demands of field operations efficiently.
  • Work closely with procurement to ensure the availability of necessary resources.
  • Build systems and processes that ensure each practice has the right products and equipment, at the right time, and in the right amounts.

Deliver Consistent Results

  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of field services.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes and improve overall practice operations.
  • Ensure the highest standards of patient care and client satisfaction through regular monitoring and evaluation of field services.
  • Implement quality assurance programs and protocols to uphold veterinary best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and feedback promptly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote field services and attract new clients.
  • Stay informed about veterinary regulations and compliance requirements to ensure field operations adhere to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with legal and regulatory affairs to address any compliance issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a veterinary practice or related healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of veterinary best practices and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
