The Department seeks to enhance its analytical capabilities and better leverage the information, intelligence, and data in a multitude of systems and applications. As a key role in that mission, we are seeking qualified candidates to serve as a Public Safety Analyst (Operations Business Analyst).
Together with the other members of our analytical team, the Operations Business Analyst will help the agency harness our information, data, and intelligence via enhanced reporting processes, trend analysis, and crime briefings.
About This Role:
The Public Safety Analyst (Operations Business Analyst) would play a crucial role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our police department by analyzing data/intelligence, optimizing reporting processes, and providing actionable insights to both internal and external stakeholders, which helps inform decision- and policy-makers and increase the overall effectiveness and responsiveness of our data and analysis operations.
In collaboration with the other members of the strategic analysis team, this position would greatly expand our real-time analytical capabilities and our ability to enhance operations and meet and exceed the modern demands and expectations of contemporary community policing.
