Description
Under general direction and in coordination with the Senior Brand Designer, the Print Production Specialist is responsible for printing and post-production work in the THD Print Shop to maintain the agency’s printed materials.
Examples of Duties
The following functions represent the majority of the duties performed by the position, but is not meant to be all-inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Operates digital press and wide-format machines to produce a variety of large and small printed materials such as forms, booklets, pamphlets, reports, pads, and other documents
2. Bindery and other finishing including but not limited to laminating, punching, padding, collating, folding, cutting, trimming and packaging
3. Updates job/project status using digital or paper tracking systems
4. Performs proofing before production to ensure jobs are completed to specification
5. Will be part of a two-person quality assurance check process for all orders
6. Maintains communication with Print Production Coordinator regarding the status of all open jobs
7. Monitors the inventory of consumable supplies and notifies the Print Production Coordinator when replenishment is needed
8. Fulfills paper supply orders for programs throughout the agency
9. Occasionally delivers printed materials at other THD locations off-site
10. Assists with the installation of printed materials when necessary (name plates, signage)
11. Supports the Marketing & Creative Services team with event tasks including but not limited to setup and takedown of signage and/or large banner stands
12. Participates in special events as requested
13. Assists with monitoring printed materials for brand guideline adherence, or errors
14. Maintains a safe, clean and compliant workspace
15. Basic Windows skills needed, multitask, answer emails and respond to questions and inquiries; able to provide accurate estimates of materials and time needed to complete printing jobs
16. Participates in special projects as assigned
17. Completes required training in support of duties and responsibilities of this position
18. Other duties as assigned including those required to fulfill activities in support of public health emergency operations
Typical Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Experience with digital print production and finishing preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Occasional exposure to printing chemical vapors, noise, dust and hazardous materials, and unusual weather conditions.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must maintain THD record confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.
Must possess willingness and ability to perform job-related travel.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Pay: $36,060.00 - $38,000.00 per year
