Production Supervisor

Status : Exempt Salaried

Reports To : Director of Operations

Location : Tulsa, OK

Job Description :

Looking for an experienced and highly driven production supervisor to join our team. As the production supervisor, you will enforce our company'

s safety laws and monitor manufacturing processes to ensure that all of our goods satisfy quality, budget, and delivery criteria.

The selected applicant will be in charge of leading a big, diversified, and skilled manufacturing team. The major purpose of this role is to appropriately arrange team members while maintaining an effective and productive work flow throughout the day.

This role will also require leading, punishing, teaching, and supporting lower-level production staff in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities :

• implements cost-saving tactics and practices.
• Coordinate and supervise the daily operations of designated staff.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for all employees. Continuous improvement.
• Establish priorities for the team to guarantee daily work completion.
• Interpret and carry out policies and processes in compliance with WES policies.
• Ensure monthly targets and KPIs are fulfilled.
• Monitor procedures to make sure quality requirements are fulfilled.
• Coaching / leadership in designated departments.
• Communicates with and supports other departments as needed.
• Ensures resources are properly staged at each workstation
• Ensure that production efficiency meet or surpass objectives.
• Ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.
• Ensure consistent and fair application of corporate policies, adhere to quality hold points, and evaluate and sign off on all passengers before completion.
• Ensure accurate employee timecards and adequate recording of labor hours, including rework, to fulfill project budgets.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience is a bonus.
• 5 years of supervisory experience in heavy production environments.
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking. Capable of overseeing many projects and departments concurrently.
• Ability to give clear and unambiguous verbal guidance
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
• Ability to assess and address issues related to quality, safety, and productivity.
• Excellent teaching and communication abilities, as well as the ability to operate in a team.
• Experienced in welding and manufacturing operations.
• Consistent and predictable attendance.
• Ability to plan shop flow and carry out plant goals
