AgWest Farm Credit is Hiring a Relationship Manager Near Tulare, CA

We are in search of a Relationship Manager l, ll, or lll to join our Credit Resolution department in Tulare, California. Candidates located near our Bakersfield, Templeton, or Tempe branch locations may be considered. This full-time position reports to the SVP, Credit Resolution and works with internal lenders and member-borrowers whose accounts need extra support, restructuring and/or collection.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Compensation InformationThe base salary range for this position is:
Level I: $63,000 - $109,000; bonus at target is 12% of salary
Level II: $69,000 - $137,000; bonus at target is 15% of salary
Level III: $85,000 - $173,000; bonus at target is 20% of salary
- Geographic zone A, B, or C and salary will be determined based on location
- Assist in the rehabilitation and collection of credits in the Credit Resolution portfolio of adversely graded loans and non-ledger assets in the most timely and cost-effective manner.
- Provide guidance to organization staff in dealing with deteriorating credits, drafting agreements and borrower written communications.
- Exercise credit risk assessment and management on loans within area of responsibility.
- Conduct and complete complex credit analysis while continuing to develop knowledge of credit and financing alternatives for both standard and complex credits.
- Develop and maintain a significant professional presence throughout the assigned territory.
- Generally, requires at least three years' related experience
- Proven understanding of credit processing and servicing activities, accounting principles and practices, credit analysis, credit administration, monitoring and reporting
- Knowledge of credit and financing alternatives and borrower's rights
- Proven decision-making, negotiating and influencing skills
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office applications and financial analysis software
- Ability to travel to perform certain required duties
- Agricultural background
- Experience with agricultural credit
- Knowledge of AgWest policies and procedures
- Experience with AgWest products and services and how they are delivered
