Overview

The Lodge at Ventana Canyon Golf & Racquet Club features 36 Holes of Championship Tom Fazio designed Golf. Play is comprised of 350 members, Lodge (50 boutique style rooms) & Loews Ventana Canyon Resort (300 resort style rooms) Guests, and local Tucson residents.

The position will assist with the management of daily golf operations including managing and tracking play, protecting and controlling assets, managing tournaments, teaching lessons, and providing other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience.

Experience Required

Golf Shop Experience Preferred

Retail Experience Preferred

Golf Background Preferred

Golf Genius, Chelsea Tee Sheet, and Jonas POS experience preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the golf shop.
• Reconciles daily tee sheets, books electronic reservations, checks in players and receives payments from members and guests.
• Point-of-sales transactions.
• Assist in merchandise arrangement and sales.
• Maintains a clean, orderly and well-stocked golf shop.
• Promotes all golf activities.
• Assists in the creation of lesson plans and provides both individual and group instruction.
• Prepares for golf outings including handicapping, scoreboards creation and general set-up.
• Assists with associate training.
• Ability to perform the duties and activities of the First Assistant Professional in his / her absence.
