Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end closing process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing variances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of manufacturing costs and inventory valuations.
- Review and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights on areas for improvement and cost optimization.
- Conduct financial analysis and present findings to stakeholders, including identifying areas of risk and recommending appropriate actions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audits.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process, providing guidance on cost drivers, revenue projections, and financial goals.
- Support senior leadership in strategic decision-making, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 4 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems, with moderate Excel skills.
- Demonstrated experience in cost accounting and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
