Trumbull Performing Dance Academy is seeking a dance teacher for this September and for the 2024/2025 dance season. We are looking for a dependable and reliable mature dance teacher only. We offer a family like work environment, and would love to add another member to our teaching family. We work to create a positive classroom environment.
We are looking for a teacher to come join our team for September 2024 and possible to start as early as July to teach for our summer program. We are looking for a teacher to grow with our school. The new teacher would start by teaching a Lyrical and a Jazz class for our younger competitive and recreational dancers on Fridays starting in the fall. Also, the teacher would work with our younger competitive dancers to clean weekly their Lyrical choreography for competition along with the director. The Teacher must have experience with competitive dance. The teacher would be required to sub a class, as needed, throughout the year.

**Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement age-appropriate dance lessons for students - Instruct students in techniques lyrical and jazz dance - Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students - Monitor and assess student progress to provide feedback and support - Choreograph dance routines for performances - Collaborate with other instructors and staff to coordinate events and recitals - Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classes
**Requirements:** - Experience in teaching dance to children or adolescents - Proficiency in Lyrical And Jazz.
