Sales Associate

Position Description

This position delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers in line with The UPS Store franchises endeavor to be the best in every aspect of business by championing a culture of trust, teamwork, accountability, high expectations and open communication.

· Requires strong interpersonal skills, effective oral/written communication skills and the ability to work with others

· Computer application knowledge, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and some photo editing is recommended but not required

· Knowledge of Internet applications preferred

· Physical requirements include the ability to stand for several hours at a time and ability to lift 50-75 pounds

· Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment

· Performs all down time duties assigned

· Practices cross-sell/up-sell on all products and services

· Complete all UPS WBT Training assigned within 90 days of employment

· CA residents are required to obtain a CA Notary appointment (at the employee’s own cost)

Set-up Mail Boxes upon request according to The UPS Store guidelines

· Process all packages via UPS shipping and/or USPS according to The UPS Store/USPS guidelines and charge accordingly

· Create passport photos by using the guidelines provided by Federal and State agencies and charge accordingly

· Send/receive fax documents and charge accordingly

· Print documents from store email upon request and charge accordingly

· Determine and follow the packing guidelines set forth by The UPS Store in order to offer the Pack and Ship guarantee for Center Packed shipments

· Package all Work Orders according to the vendor’s explicit directions (Charter, AT&T, Meta etc.)

· Sort and distribute all mail and packages for Mailbox holders

· Scan/receive and package all Amazon 360 returns according to The UPS Store and Amazon guidelines

· Sort all Access Point/Mailbox packages and document following The UPS Store guidelines

· Assist with any print jobs received from customers

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
