Job Summary:

**REQUIRED TO TRAVEL TO 500 Chesterfield Center Suite 250, Chesterfield, MO 63017 and 12255 DePaul Drive, Suite 120, Bridgeton, MO 63044**

**REQUIRED Driver's License and reliable transportation**

We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support in a medical office setting.

Duties:

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department

- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar

- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments

- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary

- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks

- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers

- Provide administrative support such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Skills:

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role is preferred

- Knowledge of dental receptionist duties is a plus

- Familiarity with medical records management systems such as Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or Epic

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of medical scheduling procedures and terminology
