The Children's Schoolhouse of Collegeville, Inc. is Hiring a Kindergarten Teacher Near Trappe, PA

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pre-School/Pre-K Teacher to join our team. As a Pre-School/Pre-K, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds and lives of young children. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning, growth, and development.

Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide a variety of learning experiences to enhance cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity and curiosity
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to support student success

- Plan and organize special events, field trips, and parent-teacher conferences

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Experience working with preschool or kindergarten-aged children
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities
- Effective communication skills with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Understanding of special education needs in the classroom
- Familiarity with physical education activities for young children

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required)
- State teaching certification or license (required)
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Experience working in a kindergarten or preschool setting (preferred)
