Job Overview:

We are seeking a Front Office Personnel to oversee the daily operations of our front desk area. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient service and dental administrative support, ensuring efficient and friendly service to our patients.

Our modern general dental office is looking for a front office personnel/receptionist/insurance coordinator. If no experience, can train. Great entry level into the health field or health insurance personnel. Can move up to office manager. We are looking for a caring front person with great communications and customer service skills. Salary based on experience.

We are a modern, cosmetic, general dental office. We don’t do root canals or extractions (we refer to specialists). Office is very clean, friendly patients, kind doctor that teaches you, and a helpful staff. Flexible hours. Please inform us when you are available for an interview

Duties:

- Manage the front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and maintaining medical records.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely care delivery.
- Utilize software system Dentrix and other dental office systems for administrative tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Oversee billing processes, insurance verification, and payment collection at the front desk.

Qualifications
- Health or dental administrative support experience
- Front desk or office experience
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
