Southwest Pipeline and Trenchless Corp. is Hiring a Project Manager Near Torrance, CA

Southwest Pipeline and Trenchless Corp. is a Construction Contractor who is a leading provider of Cured-In-Place Pipe(CIPP) and other pipeline rehabilitation methods. The majority of our work involves Contract work for municipalities. We are looking for a Project Manager in our CIPP division. We offer competitive wages, benefits, and growth potential.

The Assistant Project Manager will:
-set up and run projects until final completion
-develop weekly and monthly look ahead schedules based on estimates to keep project on budget and on schedule
-oversee project crews on a daily basis
-assist project crews in procuring materials/parts/equipment, etc.
-attend project meetings with owners to discuss schedules, issues, changes, project details
-attend pre bid job walks

-assist Estimator with bid submittals and bid document procurement/tracking

-coordinate with municipalities regarding bid documents
-coordinate with subcontractors on schedules and subcontracts
-manage project specifications, time lines, change orders
-prepare monthly job reports
-work as a team player

Qualifications:

-3-5 Years in related project manager experience
-BA/BS Degree in construction management, engineering, finance, business administration or other related experience
-Experience with underground infrastructure, in particular wastewater, preferred
-Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project)
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
-Self Starter, as you will be in charge of specific projects/crews on a daily basis
-Understanding of Project Costs,Budgets, schedules
-Potential for travel, approximately 25%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
