Olympic Marketing Group is Hiring a Project Manager Near Topsfield, MA

Job Overview:

We are a medium sized construction company located in Topsfield, MA. We specialize in all types of roofing projects both residential and commercial, siding, painting and general construction. We work primarily in Eastern Massachusetts as well as Southern New Hampshire, Maine and Rhode Island. We pride ourselves on our commitment to our clients, our employees and our subs.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate construction resources with management.
Provide leadership and mentorship to field staff and subcontractors
Oversee the organization, planning and scheduling of project initiatives for adherence to strict schedules, budgetary requirements, and quality specifications. Ability to read, produce, modify and execute project schedules is required.
Read and understand technical details of plans and specs.
Ensure that subcontractors are meeting schedule deadlines and budgetary constraints. Coordinate, direct, and monitor the activities of subcontractors and suppliers and take corrective action when necessary.
Coordinate the work on site with the activities of inspection agencies as necessary.
Communicate with Project Manager all relevant changes made at the construction site as well as any other material changes that will be required for reporting in connection with the final as-built plan and covered by general contract change orders and subcontract change orders

Requirements:

  • A professional commercial construction superintendent who will travel, present well, and who can harmoniously communicate with diverse teams, including building owners, co-workers, subcontractors and industry trades
  • The successful candidate will possess desired qualities such as problem solving skills, industry knowledge,

reliability, and professionalism with strong construction experience

  • Minimum of 5 years construction experience and at least 2 years of field supervision managing subcontractors and employees in a residential and commercial construction environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in the $10K to $500K range and single projects in the $1M-$5M range
  • Thorough knowledge of construction related computer software
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the company
  • MA Construction Supervisor’s License is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
