As Director of Technology Services, you will oversee the technical operations at Danforth. This position is responsible for managing employees and systems within the IT department, liaising with other departments to determine technical needs, and developing solutions that align with organizational objectives.

What We Ask of You:

• Lead and manage the IT infrastructure, application maintenance, vendor relationships, and resource management, including the Technology Services Manager, help desk, and project staff.
• Keep up to date on job knowledge and technology trends; be a technology leader, outline details and benefits of technology implementation to senior management and ensure the maintenance of current applications and systems.
• Critically develop and implement long-term technical strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with overall corporate objectives.
• Develop and manage IT-related budgets, including annual and project-related expenditures; analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure maintenance of current applications and technology systems are updated
• Process Improvement: Provide technical input and resource management to support corporate process improvement initiatives, including user/department needs and core system application modifications.

Experience & Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5 years of experience managing a full-service IT department
• Sound leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Solid working knowledge of current security protocols and threats
• Strong knowledge of network design, implementation, administration, and maintenance
• Experience with developing and maintaining budgets

Danforth offers a competitive benefits package for eligible employees including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, paid time off, 401(k), with company match, and participation in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The estimated compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000. This range is based on several factors, including individual education, qualifications, training, prior work experience, and work location.
