Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions has an opening for a Facility Maintenance Worker or Lead based in the Tomball, TX Technology Center. This role will support the operation and maintenance for the facility and grounds.
General Responsibilities
Responsible for the continuous operation of all systems required to run the facility
Perform daily and weekly inspections of all designated areas with detailed documentation
Schedule and ensure the completion of all preventative maintenance tasks required for safe and effective operations
Complete facility work requests through direct light maintenance activities or management of vendors
Establish contracts with key vendors to ensure the safe and continuous operation of the facility and grounds
Schedule, closely monitor, and document any maintenance and repair activities performed by vendors
Maintain and expand site CMMS system to include management of vendors and purchase orders
Monitor and modify systems via the site Building Automation System and address issues as needed
Work closely with the Site Leader and EHS Manager to address various requirements related to site safety and environmental compliance
Maintain necessary parts, equipment and supplies for routine repairs and operation of systems
Serve on the Fire Response Team and Site Emergency Management team
Qualifications / Requirements
High School Diploma
Prior experience maintaining a site level CMMS
Prior experience with a Building Automation System
Broad knowledge of facility systems including electrical systems, carpentry, general HVAC, air handling units, boilers, chillers, hydraulics, pneumatics, generators, and other mechanical equipment
Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross functional teams
Excellent computer skills including both Google and MS Office products
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in an environment with occasional exposure to unpleasant environmental conditions and/or hazards including extreme cold and extreme heat
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to climb ladders, bend, and crawl
Desired Characteristics
Associates degree in industrial maintenance or applicable certifications
Capable of the overall management of a Building Automation System and a site level CMMS
Possess knowledge and skills necessary for performing maintenance tasks and inspecting/reviewing contracted work in an industrial facility
Prior experience with or ability to learn SAP
