The CNC Operator is responsible for safely, productively, and skillfully creating beautiful metal fabricated parts to print specifications. These parts are to meet or exceed established quality and productivity standards.
The CNC Operator reports directly to the Production Supervisor.
There are no direct reports to this position. However, machine performance is the responsibility of the operator and any conditions that are a safety concern or lower the expected output of the machine must be communicated to the shift supervisor.
The primary responsibility of the CNC Operator is to produce metal fabricated parts to customer print specifications using a standard process.
Additional tasks include:
To perform this job successfully, It is preferred that an individual have the ability to read a blueprint and calculate positive and negative adjustments to produce parts to print specifications.
