Watch Me Grow learning Academy is Hiring a Music Teacher Near Toledo, OH
Watch Me Grow Learning Academy is currently seeking applications for a part-time Music Enrichment teacher for the 2024-2025 school year, from September to May. The position will require two days per week for two hours each day, between 8:30 am and 10:30 am.
Our Philosophy: We take a lively and interactive approach to educating young children. Our music program aims to foster self-expression, social growth, and a passion for music.
Responsibilities include:
- Introducing small groups of children, ages 3-5, to the world of music through songs, simple instruments, and a variety of instructional materials, resources, and experiences.
- Preparing and leading our annual Christmas program and spring concert.
Qualifications:
- Must be personable and approachable.
- Must be comfortable working with groups of children aged 2.5-5 years old.
- Strong vocal skills required; ability to play an instrument is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Good communication skills.
Requirements:
- Experience teaching in an early childhood education setting.
- Musical background preferred.
- Able to pass BCI/FBI background checks.
