Manage and Oversee the Accounting Staff

The Assistant Controller is responsible for ensuring that accounting is performed timely and accurately. Responsibilities include financial reporting, preparing reports, managing accounting team, and work with the company’s financial team to create and maintain internal controls and policies while establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

Perform Financial Analysis and Support

The Assistant Controller is expected to support the organization by analyzing current and past financial data and performance. Responsible for collaboration with Controller and external auditors.

Communicate and Promote Team Work

The Assistant Controller position, as with other management positions, is expected to be a leader for our company and should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, conduct their work thoroughly, ethically, and accurately. They will need the ability to be proactive and responsive and develop a team atmosphere.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA certification or CPA candidate.
• Proven ability to analyze financial data and familiarity with financial reporting and internal controls is advantageous.
• Proven experience and expertise working in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power Query and Power BI a plus.
• Proven understanding of GAAP principles.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
