Role: Instrumentation Technician

Main Functions: Install and maintain instrument equipment in compliance with regulations.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Plan, update, and oversee activities ensuring adherence to laws and safety standards.
• Foster teamwork between operations, engineering, and projects groups.
• Provide input on control specifications and practices.
• Accountable for control systems and work permits.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Develop personal and team technical skills.
• Attend technical meetings to update instrument technicians.
• Maintain open communication on control issues with co-workers.
• Prioritize work effectively.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
• Generate Management of Change requests for equipment.
• Monitor and inspect installations for consistency.
• Act as a stand-in for the Instrument Lead when required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be local (within 75 miles of Tioga, ND).
• Oil & Gas Industry Experience a plus.
• Instrumentation / Automation certification a plus.
• Grade 12 education or equivalent with technical training.
• Experience in instrument maintenance in processing or offshore plants.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety protocols.
• Proficient in OIMS systems and procedures.
• Strong communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.

Pay Rate: $35/hr.

Truck Allowance: TBD

Hours : 5 days on / 2 days off (8 to 10 hr. days)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Oil and Gas: 2 years (Required)
• Electrical: 1 year (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Tioga, ND: Relocate before starting work (Required)
