Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and attending to guests' needs in a timely manner.
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Present menus and explain menu items to customers
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Deliver orders to tables promptly and accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Process payments and operate the POS system efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and assist with bussing tables as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and culinary terminology
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional service
- Ability to handle cash transactions and possess basic math skills
- Proficient in time management to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
