Consolidated Supply Co., a Pacific Northwest plumbing, hydronic heating, and water works wholesale distributor, has an opening for an experienced Staff Accountant at our corporate headquarters in Tigard, OR. Family-owned and operated since 1928, we are 21 locations and over 550 employees strong. We value customer service and enhancing the lives of Northwest families.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity
- Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 0 - 2 years' experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
