We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in our organization. If you are a strategic thinker with a knack for implementing innovative solutions, driving process improvements, and leading capital improvement projects, we would like to hear from you. As an Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring our business objectives are met and best practices are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the organization, implementing policies, processes, and initiatives that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards, identifying areas of improvement.
- Lead capital improvement projects, from conception to implementation, ensuring they align with business objectives.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program, promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
- Drive process improvements across the organization, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions that enhance productivity and profitability.
- Collaborate with other department heads to align operations with overall business goals and objectives.
- Implement and manage best practices, ensuring they are adhered to across all levels of the organization.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting audits and implementing process improvements.
- Proven track record of managing and implementing capital improvement projects.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing industry, including regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing safety programs is a plus.
- Proficiency in using business software and tools, including MS Office suite.
