Dale Workforce Solutions is Hiring a Data Analyst, Associate Near Thousand Oaks, CA

The Attribute Sciences Digital and Pivotal Portfolio (ASDP) group provides scientific and technical engineering expertise in support of Client’s pipeline and commercial portfolio. This team applies advanced data & computational analytics to advance products across all stages of therapeutic development.
This position will provide support to Client’s pipeline through application of data ETL protocols, and dashboards/reports deployment. Responsibilities will include development of high throughput data ingestion pipelines, data wrangling, cleaning, analysis, and presentation. The selected candidate will also have an opportunity to collaborate with a cross-functional team to understand the scope and needs of data consumers and preparing data visualizations and dashboards to effectively meet those needs. This position will also focus on identifying opportunities for optimization and assist in deploying optimal solutions.
Position ResponsibilitiesUse data analytics software to develop visualizations to review, assess, and improve our molecule assessment process
Develop data storage and visualization tools and methodologies
Data wrangling and cleaning
Interface with analytical scientists, process development scientists and protein engineers to assess, understand, and support data consumption needs
Basic QualificationsMaster’s degree OR
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of scientific or engineering experience OR
Associate’s degree and 6 years of scientific or engineering experience OR
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of scientific or engineering experience
Preferred QualificationsStrong programming skills in python/R/scala and SQL. Prior experience with databricks and spark is preferred
Hands on skills in UNIX environments and AWS
Knowledge of containerization with Docker would be an advantage
Familiarity with Spotfire/RShiny/Dash/Streamlit and experience in generating dashboards for rapid and dynamic data visualizations
Experience in applying data analysis, database management and statistical analysis, to identify trends and correlations in high dimensional data
Understanding of data structures, data types, and algorithms
Agile mindset to adapt to changing business needs and operational requirements and deliver high quality results in a timely manner
Excellent written and verbal communication coupled with strong leadership skills and decision-making abilities
Ability to multi-task and function in a dynamic environment and should be able to progress work with minimal direction
