Camp Counselors at Daland Swim School guide and ensure the safety of children as they engage in camp activities. We're looking for people who are friendly, approachable, and have a helpful attitude towards campers, parents, and staff. Must be enthusiastic with campers during activities in and out of the pool.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• General supervision of multiple children while facilitating program rules, regulations and safety expectations

• Ability to maintain energy and excitement among campers through creativity and flexibility

• Welcoming and supervising children

• Plan and implement recreational activities for children

• Constantly model positive behavior to campers through excitement and participation in daily activities

• Attend to injuries and illnesses

• Effectively communicate with and assist parents with regard to camp-specific programming

• Attend and engage in staff orientation sessions and meetings as required

• Maintain camp facilities as they relate to campers

Education/Experience: No experience necessary! We'll provide all necessary training. Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, and/or childcare provider is a plus. An upbeat, positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children is a must.

Certificates and Licenses: CPR/First Aid certification required. We provide all needed training and offer the required certifications at our facility.
