Oliver Behavioral Consultants is Hiring a Revenue cycle specialist Near Thornton, CO

We are looking for a talented Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our Behavioral Healthcare practice. The Revenue Cycle Specialist will provide analytical support, A / R management, problem-solving, and communication on all matters about the revenue cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Review unpaid claims and research reasons for delay
  • Initiate collection follow-up of unpaid or denied claims with the appropriate payer
  • Research appeal and resolve claim rejections, underpayments and denials with payers
  • Process appeals by gathering information and resubmitting claims
  • Communicate payment or denial trends that impact revenue to leadership
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and payer representatives
  • Contact insurance companies to work out any discrepancies and get the claims paid
  • Review outstanding accounts and aging report
  • Process any adjustments as needed

EXPERIENCE and SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 2-4 years of healthcare billing and collections / financial experience required. (four year degree may substitute).
  • Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 coding, and Federal / managed care rules and regulations preferred.
  • Ability to present in front of large groups.
  • Ability to anticipate and field questions.
  • The utmost professionalism to work with senior leaders in the company.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects or training at one time.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • Effectively communicate both verbal and written, to a variety of individuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiastic, an energetic
  • Can work remotely and stay on task

The compensation starting range for the Revenue Cycle Specialist role is $17-$20 hourly. Ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
