Job Description
We are looking for someone dedicated to the highest care for our clients' pets while they are staying at our boarding facility and in our hospital. A kennel assistant is asked to provide a comfortable and clean environment for all pets in our facility. We expect these employees to hold themselves to the highest standard to ensure all pets are cared for well.
Job duties include:
- walking, monitoring and feeding animals,
- cleaning the kennel area, and
- helping stock shelves.
- laundry maintenance
- bathing animals
Job Requirements:
- Moderate lifting (-40-50#)
- Weekend work is rotational and you are never alone
- strong character and work ethic
- reliability
- patience
- animal handling skills
Full and part time positions available.
Veterinary assistant training is an option depending on work ethic, ability and experience. We pride ourselves in wanting our employees to grow and learn.
